Just for your information… you can do this whole process yourself. Here are all the items you need to consider when you want to upload your cd or dvd for duplicating and distribution. You start by downloading and starting the custom software. Next you need:

1. Time to make the project
   If your good, it takes an hour. If you are new, it could take you all day or longer!
   
2. Title, Description and Contact Information of your project
   Sorry, you are going to have to do this either way!
3. Professional Graphics and Labels. (300 dpi at a specific size)
   -A label for your DVD or CD disk
   -A label for your DVD or CD case
   -A label for the insert of your DVD or CD case

   Yes, Kunaki has some stock images but they are not very good and they certainly are not unique. Do you want your DVD or CD to look like somebody elses? Can you design them yourself? No? Then you are going to have to find someone to make labels for you. Plan on spending $135 or more for labels. How long is that going to delay your project? Do you feel comfortable picking the first graphic designer that comes along? How many revisions are they going to do for you until you like it? How good is their guarantee?
   

4. Insert your finished DVD into your computer- and let the software digitize your project to your computer.
   Problems I have seen: Not enough hard drive space on the computer. Or- the DVD had scratches or needed cleaning. I had to personally redigitize the DVD on another system and do it all over again. That took another hour just by itself.
5. A good internet connection to upload your Project to the duplication facility and that will probably be in use for hours (it ranges from 4 to 15 hours for me using my Verizon Fios line). Good luck if the power goes off during an upload! Usually it corrupts the transfer and you have to start all over again. I mean the WHOLE project again. I speak from an experience this week in fact… Back to square one…
   
6. Shopping Cart Integration: How are you going to accept payment and take orders? Have you figured out how you are going to take payments? Or pay for your initial shipment?
   
7. Kunaki does not provide custom or multiple disc projects. Do you have more than 1 CD or DVD in the package that you want to sell? You are out of luck. You can’t do it with Kunaki. They only provide single disc manufacturing. No books or additional material. No special packaging.
   
8. Will you get phone support if you have a problem? They offer only email customer service. They won’t call you and you can’t call them… and the replies I have gotten by email are short and not too descriptive or helpful. You either figure it out by reading their website- or find another duplicator.
   
9. The biggest content size of a disk is 4.7 GB. You have to find a different duplicator if you have a different sized disc.
   
10. No one will automatically setup a complete “automatable system” for you to take orders. You have to think this through.
